2020 CSCI-CITAC Annual General Meeting - Thursday November 12 - Friday November 13, 2020

The Program Title is: Navigating Uncertainty, Embracing Change, and Empowering the Next Generation of Clinician Scientists

 We are looking forward to this year’s CSCI-CITAC Annual General Meeting is taking place virtually on November 12-13, 2020. We have a very exciting and interactive meeting planned. Attached is the Program where you will find all the details to join the meetings through Zoom.

This year’s theme is “Navigating uncertainty, embracing change and empowering the next generation of clinician-scientists”.

Along with our Keynote Speaker and Awardee presentations, there will also be four exciting dynamic workshops.

Workshops

There are two workshop sessions:

  • Day 1 – Thursday November 12, 3:30-5:00 pm
  • Day 2 – Friday November 13, 1:30-3:00 pm

All trainees have been assigned to two workshops and will be receiving meeting invitations shortly. Please add this information to your schedules. Attendance will be noted at the sessions. We ask that you use your full names when signing in to Zoom.

Posters

The Young Investigator Poster Session will take place on Thursday November 12th from 2:15-3:15 pm on www.Voicethread.com. We ask that all Poster Presenters be available to respond to comment notifications that you should receive during that time. All AGM participants can view the posters at the given VoiceThread link. If you would like to comment on a poster, you will need to register for a free VoiceThread account. All the required instructions on how to comment and links to the specific groups can be found on is on Page 9 of the meeting Program.

CITAC All Members Meeting

All MD/PhD and CIP trainees are invited to the CITAC All members meeting scheduled for Wednesday November 11th, 8:00-9:00 pm. Details are in the Program.

We are looking forward to a very exciting meeting this year and we look forward to seeing you there!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Attendance at the Symposium is an annual mandatory requirement for all CIP trainees who are still actively engaged in the research phase of their CIP program.  Please arrange any clinical duties accordingly.
